Table Groups
The table is a place where everyone is welcome and where life happens with community and with Jesus. Table Groups are small groups within Convergence where we experience transformation as we encounter Jesus and open up our lives to Him and others. We will study the Bible, celebrate what God is doing in each other, share a meal, and take Communion.

Terri and I appreciate the close connections we are able to make through Table Groups. Table Groups allows us to journey with other believers in a way we could not otherwise do. Because of that we are able to give and experience love, encouragement and celebration of what God is doing in our lives.
“(Our favorite thing about Table Groups is) having a place and time to do life together.”
Shannon & Jayne Wilks
There are so many wonderful aspects of Table Groups that we could mention like, the sense of community that comes from encouraging others and being encouraged, praying with and for others and fellowshiping. It’s hard to describe the sense of unity and identity that comes from being part of a Table Group. Table Groups are like family, it is a commitment to each person through thick and then, through the good times and the tough times. One of the best parts about belonging to a Table Group is when you walk into service on Sunday morning and there are 14 or 15 people there who are just so glad to see you. That is Table Groups.
“Our favorite thing about table group is the opportunities to build relationships and to grow deep in those relations because of Table Groups. When we meet together and have the opportunity to grow together in depth and understanding of Jesus, it impacts every area of our lives!”

“Life can be challenging, so we are grateful to be in community; having people surround us, encourage us, walk life with us, and cover us in prayer. Table Groups are a great way to connect and develop deeper relationships with some truly amazing people. We also wanted to create a space where our kids could participate, so when we break into our smaller groups, they have their own, as well. It is important to us that they grow and walk in community with like-minded believers, too! We wouldn’t want to do life any other way!”

“We value that Table Groups provide the opportunity to not only open ourselves up to others but to also receive the gift of others’ experiences and insights through the study of God’s word and communal prayer.”
– Ted & Nancy Menard
“Table Groups for us is opportunity for in-depth conversation about personal concerns, mutual encouragement & prayer. It is Cultivation of personal relationships which would be more difficult in a large meeting setting. We also spend time studying the Bible in some depth and breadth with input from everyone in the group.”
“In our small table group we can share privileged information for prayer based on a relationship of established trust. We enjoy hearing the different perspectives of members based on reading and study of scripture and related materials.”
